Fundraising Discount Cards, the One Sure Way to Raise Funds Quickly

Yes, fundraising discount cards have been around for many years now - but if your group or organization has yet to give them a try when those projects come around that require money, you don't know what you're missing!  There are countless products and methods that can be used to raise money for your church or school group, or for other organizations, but you would be very hard-pressed to find any product or activity that offers the profitability you will experience with fundraising discount cards.

Another benefit of the cards is that you can raise a substantial amount of money in days rather than weeks or even a month or two.  If you're in need of several thousand dollars, it's really the only way to go.  Suppose the 3rd grade class needs to raise $5,000 for books for a new addition to the school library.  How long would it take to raise that kind of money through the sale of candy bars or catalog items?  Probably far longer than you would like, considering you would have to sell about 2,000 candy bars to raise that much money.  With fundraising discount cards, you can easily raise that amount by selling about 600 to 700 cards, which is easily accomplished if you have 60 or 70 students to do the selling.

Customers are familiar with the cards, and love to buy them year after year because of the great value they offer.  Considering they sell for $10 and the customer can save at a dozen or more local merchants over the course of an entire year, it's easy to see the value.  What value is there in a candy bar?  Not much, especially considering the state of most families' budgets today and a faltering economy.  People are really concerned these days about "throwing money out the window," and are far less likely to splurge on unnecessary purchases.

Fundraising discount cards allow the bearer to save on services and products that are an essential part of life, such as haircuts, fast food and dine-in restaurants, oil changes for the car - things that people spend money on regardless of economic conditions.  The more cards you buy and sell, the higher the profit margins your group will enjoy.  Essentially, there is no limit to how much money you can raise, it all hinges on how hard your group works to promote the cards.  However, this is easy as well because of the ease in which you can take them everywhere you go, unlike bulky boxes you have to carry around with other products like jerky, popcorn or candy bars.

Of course you could always choose to add fundraising discount cards to the other products or activities you rely on to raise funds.  While car washes, bake sales and other common methods used to raise funds aren't always that profitable, they are fun and allow for a great time to be had by all involved, but profits can really soar when you add another "income stream."
